YOUNG AT HEART

Date: 29th September, 2017

On the occasion of World Heart Day, it is only fair to spread awareness and tips how to take care of this vital organ. Although there was so much information available online and offline, we thought of taking a small test amongst the common people and know their knowledge on this special organ.

We launched this project called Young At Heart for the same. It was in action for two days viz 29th and 30th of September 2017  We formulated a quiz, the link of which was shared with the zonal groups of non medicos, family and friends of our members, etc.

Their answers were scored and informed to them via their email address with a link of our prophylaxis based on heart attached to it.

We believe that it is important that the layman must be involved as they are the ones whom we eventually treat.

They should have the basic knowledge about what and what not is good for the health of their heart. Making them attempt this quiz was a way of making them realize how less they know about their own vital organ and then educating them for the same.

Based on the answers we received via the quiz, it seems that the knowledge about the anatomy of heart and its diseases is not upto date and it is our duty to educate the non medical population about it.

We are pleased with the efforts taken by Rtr. Gayatri Gaikwad (chairperson of the project) for timely formulation and evaluation of the quiz.
