Rotaract Club of The Caduceus, ranked as the 16th best club as per AARAs in Rotaract International District 3141 is a community based club with members across various major cities in India viz. Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Delhi, Solapur and Kolhapur.
Conception of Caduceus: (History)
It was 20 years ago that a group of students in the medical/para medical field came together with a strong desire to provide health aide to the needy population in the society.
The medical field eventually gives them a direction and an opportunity to serve the community, but there was a strong motivation amongst all of them to begin using their knowledge and training to alleviate the sufferings of the people and help them to the best of their capabilities. With this idea and a support from a few seniors, Caduceus was born.
It was founded by Rtr Dr. Satchit Balsari on 24th November, 1997. It was the first and the only rotaract club in South East Asia with medical professionals exclusively, serving the community. It is based at Grant Medical College and Sir Jamshedjee Jeejeebhoy Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, India.

Ever since its inception,Caduceus has been working in the healthcare sector all over Mumbai and its outskirts to reach out to the underprivileged and help them with their most precious resource: Health.
OUR VISION
Rotaract Club of the Caduceus entered into the new Rotaract year 2017-18 with a broad vision of redefining L.I.F.E. The theme of the year was released on 23rd of July, 2017 at the 20th Installation Ceremony of the club.
