Organ donation is one way to live beyond death although in the body of a needy. Organ donation is still a taboo in our society mainly because people do not have a proper knowledge about the same, suspiciousness and distrustfulness, or simply because they are not aware of the procedure.

 

To combat this issue, our directors organized an organ donation awareness drive: ‘Will-Live beyond life ‘which was held at Mumbai Central Railway Station.

 

Pamphlets were made by our club for volunteers as reference while counseling the people and as well distributed amongst them to create awareness of organ donation.

 

Our volunteers had prepared speeches to bust off various doubts, disbeliefs and were readily solving all the queries that were brought up.

 

People who were convinced and ready for organ donation, filled up the form and their details were noted for a follow up. It was a successful camp with over 200 people being counseled and 70 forms filled on the spot. Indeed, organ donation is a righteous way of saving mankind.
