What if I get some approval?

What if I finally have guts to send a 'Hi'?

What if I actually get a reply?

What if I stop feeling so shy?

What if I try to change on a whim?

What if they don't let me?

What if I get the wrong cup of tea?

What if I can't make them see?

What if I just give in?

What if they don't miss me?

It doesn't help to think how it will be

The sky, the moon, the stars will all shine

No matter what I do

Life goes on, people move on

It's how it should be

But what if I decide to hang on

Will the sun shine a little brighter?

Will the moon smile at me?
