TAB (Take-A-Break)- Harihar Trek

Date: 30th July, 2017

Our club members belonging to the medical and para medical field are  ever so stressed before there’s anything to stress about and then they stress about stressing over stress that doesn’t need to be stressed about. Oh my God, wasn’t that stressful to even read? Phew!

Studying medicine in itself is never easy but we know it’s all going to be worth it! So taking frequent breaks is a healthy habit to remain mentally and physically fit. Hence, to promote mental and physical fitness we have launched ‘take a break’ project where frequent fun and adventurous activites are planned for our hard working medicos.

This time, we arranged for a trek to the historic Harihar fort,Kasara which was highly requested by our club members. The participants bonded well over tea and snacks before the commencement of the trek at the base village. Thereafter, it was a 3hour long ascend and on reaching the summit our participants were busy enjoying the view, the monsoon greenery, clicking pictures and making the most of it.

We were blessed with an amazing foggy weather with greenery and slush all around. The descent was even more fun filled with giggles and laughter all over.

Although the trek was intense and tiring, we accomplished our target and returned home with beautiful memories. The cherry on the cake was the amazing weather that we were blessed with!
