Gandhiji very rightly once stated:

‘If you want to see the real India, visit its villages.’

How true! Only when we visit the interior of India, we understand the complexities of life that a majority of Indians face and we’re able to formulate plans and schemes to aid their welfare. One such camp to reach to the grassroot levels was carried out at Vasind.

The NSS students also actively contributed to the camp. This project targeted the villagers who suffer from ill health because of ignorance, lack of education and poor financial conditions. The volunteers helped in screening,teaching and guiding them to positive health. The project received a massive response and the participants were encouraged to organise such camps annually at Vasind.

The project is a boon to the towns and villages of India. It is our constant endeavour to make basic health services and health education reach every nook and corner of the country.
