Rotaract Club of The Caduceus came up with the idea as suggested by a gynaecologist, seeked permission from a school in Haryana and began to move a step ahead on this awareness drive. Many meetings were conducted both offline and online with the school officials before starting with the camp.

 

On 3rd of November 2017, in Amity International School, Gurugram, Haryana 3 volunteers counselled the students on following 3 topics each for 20 minutes followed by a question answer round.

 

Topics-

1. HPV and importance of vaccines in general.

2. Over the counter drugs

3. Antibiotic resistance

About 40 students of class 11 and 12 were counselled. The project was carried out to make our young friends aware about cervical cancer, availability of HPV vaccine, harmful effects of over the counter drugs and antibiotic resistance.
