It is always very rewarding to “Be someone’s smile”.  As seen since past few years the temperature has been falling quite low and it gets too cold during winters. In such conditions the homeless people find it difficult to manage in such cold temperatures. We as the members of a community, it’s our duty to help the needy as much as we can. Therefore, the volunteers of the club were asked for voluntary donations of their old blankets, sweaters, shawls etc. The collected items were distributed amongst various localities of both the cities- Mumbai & Nashik.

                IN NASHIK-The donations received were ( 20 blankets, 4 quilts, 7 shawls and 2 sweaters) from the students of  2 colleges- MGV’s KBH Dental College and MVP’s Dr,. VPMCH and Research Centre.

They were distributed across 3 localities- Mumbai Naka, Ramkund Riverbank and Civil Hospital.

IN MUMBAI- The donations received were ( around 40 blankets) from the students of 2 colleges- Grant Govt.Medical College & Seth.GS Medical College. They were distributed across 3 localities- Area around JJ hospital, area around Matunga and area  around KEM hospital.

The event being different from the usual Caduceus events was an altogether new experience for the volunteers. It was held on the 11th of December 2017. Many older women had tears in their eyes upon seeing the efforts taken by the volunteers.It was a very rewarding experience for our volunteers too to see smiles spread across.
