OCV of the Rotary Club is carried out as a part of tradition on appreciating the achievements and motivating them further to excel in their field. We, the Rotaract Club of the Caduceus went to support our Parents and also to experience the visit on the 24th December 2017 at Trident, Mumbai.

President of the Rotary Club of Mumbai Central, Mrs Nirupama Khanke had called us regarding the Official Club Visit of their club by the district and had invited us to attend the same. It was an evening full of bonding, learning and enjoying for us.

 

The District Governor, Mr Praful Shah and the Assistant Governor, Mr Sunnil Mehra had come to help the club for further achievements. After a brief presentation about the Rotary Club activites and its association with its two Rotaract clubs by Mrs Nirupama Khanke, the district Governor enlightened us with a beautiful speech emphasizing on how being a better person makes all the difference.

Also we had a talk with the District Governor and the Assistant Governor who were interested to know more about our club. They appreciated our efforts as well as gave few tips on how can we progress further.The OCV was followed by a Christmas Eve Party which was filled with love and laughter.

It was a great experience all in all to meet such reputed yet down to earth people and learn from their experiences. Also it was a great help by the pointers given to us by them on how to improve the activities of the club. It was also a great time to bond with our Rotary Parents and our Sister Club.
