Meducation is a series initiated by the Rotaract Club of Caduceus to promote learning for a cause. Meducation 5.0 was yet an amazing and interesting one but a little different than usual. In order to reach out to as many people as possible and to benefit them,  Meducation 5.0 was held online this year. The project went live on 12th October 2017.

Well renowned speakers were contacted and they were requested to record a small video regarding their topic of convenience in their working premises. Volunteers were asked to go and record the same at a given appointment. Videos have been uploaded on facebook page @rccaduceus.

The videos by Dr. Avinash Desousa and Ms. Rhea Gandhi have been uploaded on our Facebook page @rccaduceus which has received a tremendous positive response. Mental health is an ever growing issue in our society; going to meet just a counsellor holds enough stigma in our community which makes approaching a psychiatrist for a legit issue becomes a herculean task.

Hence, to spread awareness regarding this year’s WHO theme ‘Depression -Lets talk’ this project was a necessity.
