The Rotaract Club of Caduceus has always been keen and eager to work for the society. The Medical Camp at Vasai, Mumbai was another event where we worked selflessly for the people of all strata of the society on the 28th December 2017.

Anthropometry, vitals (BP, Pulse), ECG, general check up, vision testing and dental check up were provided.  69 girls and 1 boy were observed under complete general examination , vision testing and basic counselling sessions. Deworming tablets were given to every child under the supervision of our volunteers.

Nutritive biscuits were distributed under the supervision of our volunteers. Children that required further observations were referred to nearby hospital according to their conditions. 61 workers were assessed under complete general examination and vitals measurement. BMI was assessed to inform individuals of their health status.

One on one counselling done to educate on methods of improving their health status. Workers that required further observations were referred to nearby hospital according to their condition.

The problems of the children treated at this primary stage prevent their manifestation in the form of myriad of dangerous diseases.
