The need to boost the creative skills of the members and even non members who support the club was discussed by our directors and we concluded that the best way thus far to do this would be via an online themebased poetry writing contest. The theme for the contest that was decided upon was ‘healthcare’.

      A message via WhatsApp was forwarded not only to Rotaract club groups but also to other college groups in order to reach a wider platform of prospective participants.The entries were collected by the deadline provided (31st march, 2018, 2 PM IST) and were judged. The winners were declared and announced. We loved each and every entry for which participation certificates and award certificates were provided online.

      The poems received were unique and expressive and conveyed different interpretations of the same word.The poems will be displayed on the club’s website soon.

            This project was carried out to give all participants a chance to voice themselves and to inspire their creative side, as well as to provide quality reading content to all those who regularly follow the  ‘Larynx’ bulletin on the club’s website.
