The main motive of our Club is to target socities/setups throughout Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane – Kalyan – Neral , Pune, Nashik and Kolhapur which do not have a proper medical health care support. We intend to provide them the basic health checkup and advice to how to live a healthy life through home remedies and/or referrals to government hospitals.

                The Rotaract Club of Hinduja College contacted our club to set up a medical camp for the general population. The camp was held on the 17th December 2017 at Colaba. Volunteers were arranged through our members forum on whatsapp messaging. 54 individuals were thoroughly checked and screened for any disease or disorder by the volunteers.

                As usual, we recorded their anthropometric measures and carried out general examination, vision testing, and dental checkup. Deworming tablets were given to all for dwindling stomach infections if any. Physiotherapy and dental interventions were taken for their respective cases. BP and blood sugar levels of the high risk individuals were also tested. Based on the clinical evaluation, people that required further medical attention were referred to higher centres like hospitals such as JJ and Nair Hospital.

                The Partner organisations were so happy with the work of caduceus that they had conducted a special ceremony to felicitate all the volunteers on 7th of January at Hinduja College.
