‘The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.’

These majestic words of the Father of our nation, although cliche, are a universal truth. We, at the Rotaract Club of Caduceus constantly strive to help the society and do our bit to aid in its betterment.

As a part of achieving this goal, as soon as we received a call from the coordinator from Lion’s Club of Bombay North to organize a Health Check-up Camp at Shri Vibhuthinarayan High School in Dahisar, we were on our toes for any assistance required.

It was held on the 21st of January 2018. The camps were organized for primary, secondary and higher secondary students of the school. The health check-up comprised of anthropometry, general check up, vision testing and a dental check up. Counselling sessions were conducted which included hand and oral hygiene, sanitation, nutrition and adolescence reproductive and sex education programme.

It was a gratifying experience for all the volunteers. Interacting with innocent beaming children left an indelible mark on our minds and souls.
